After a 10-year stint in various countries such as Italy, Peru and Mexico, back in my native city, I started looking for the best way to leverage my expertise and interact with those who were interested in Japan.
We have observed that Japanese manufacturers and service providers often fail to realise the fact that their products and services can find more value or different meanings abroad.
On the other hand, we have witnessed that overseas companies and individuals do not always possess the necessary assets to explore what Japan could offer.
We speak English, French, Spanish and Italian, and we have a lot of Chinese-speaking local operation partners.

Development of cross-border supply chain
Dealing with a set of regulations is only a part of undertaking. The task should start finding providers who are capable of collaborating with overseas companies. Very often the lack of fluid communication becomes a major obstacle. We understand the idiosyncrasies of Japanese SMEs.
We are also an importer and exporter ourselves
While supporting overseas clients, we have been working as a trading company. That allows us to understand the complex nature of Japan’s distribution network. We also understand that the marketing methodology is different in each country and Japanese visual presentations and product packaging are not particularly universal.
We belong to a legal service firm in Osaka
We originally started as a consulting arm of Kano Legal Office, a solicitor’s office which dealt with incorporation, property registration and inheritance. Although we have gradually shifted our focus to supply chain development and procurement, we still support overseas companies that want to start business in Japan through their own entity.
